A Long Time Ago, In a Land Far Far Away, There was a Secret

May 1, 2014

Have you ever had a secret you were just dying to tell?  Well, we’ve got one, but we can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet. Don’t worry too much, though.  All will be revealed tomorrow.  And trust us.  This news is worth waiting for.

In the meantime, take a look at what’s set to arrive in shop in August.  It’s the much-anticipated reprint of Heather Ross’ Far Far Away in quilting cottons.  The first time around, this collection was originally printed on double-gauze, but it’s been out of print for some time and what’s left has become rare and difficult to find.  Can you see any prints you’ve been admiring from afar and can’t wait to get your hands on?

Far Far Away

Do you recognize the unicorns and frogs?  Laura used the original double-gauze prints for her daughter’s bedroom embroidery hoops.  I know some of you probably already have plans for these fabrics only found in fairy tales.  So the big question is, how will the story end and what will you make?
