I’m about 7 weeks behind on the City Sampler quilt along and thought I’d do a blitz this week to catch up. 12 blocks done … 12 to go. This is #39. I’ve moved into the triangle section of the book, so the pace may slow a bit.
The road less travelled took me by Andrew Haydon Park on my way to the mall today. Less travelled because I normally take the highway, but an appointment in Kanata made it simpler to take the slow road over to Bayshore. And so I found myself driving past the park on this beautiful morning. I stopped and took a walk and remembered all the wonderful times we spent there when the kids were little. Geese and gulls, chipmunks and critters, playgrounds and picnics … we celebrated Emily’s 20th birthday this week, so I’m feeling just a bit sentimental.
Summer’s about done and it was excellent! This guy was seen on the street during one of our summer adventures. Any guesses where you might find him? Check my 10 things this summer blog post for a clue.
