Have you met Josée Carrier? Or seen her work? She’s a fellow Canadian who’s modern designs have been popping up everywhere.
There’s the Mirror Quilt (a mini) in the summer issue of Modern Quilts Unlimited.
And before that there was the Spectrum Baby Quilt in Fat Quarterly Issue 14.
And this tumbling blocks playmat is from the spring issue of Modern Quilts Unlimited.
Earlier this summer, Josée was kind enough to send me a copy of Set The Table, which includes one of her patterns for a table runner. She was in the midst of planning a project for the Montreal Modern Quilt Guild (she’s a founding member) and I thought it would be fun to see what fabrics she would pull from the shelves. She got to work, and the result is this bundle of basic modern prints that would be a great addition to any stash.
Josée blogs at The Charming Needle, where you can keep up with her latest adventures in the sewing room!
