Missouri Star Block Book

BLOCK Magazine Volume 7 Issue 6

At the close of the season, there are so many things to be thankful for in this inspiring issue of BLOCK Magazine. Although it's been a challenging year, there are many moments that shine through and we're here to remember all the things that bring us joy. Inside the pages of this issue, you'll find 10 beautiful new quilting and sewing projects, the end of the Ruby Sensation sew along, the thrilling conclusion to the mystery story, and, as always, you won't find one single ad. Settle in and celebrate the end of the year with us at BLOCK Magazine. Let's begin by meeting the Ubushobozi Cooperative. This incredible group of women in Rwanda is working to break the cycle of poverty through sewing and weaving. Then, try a few new designs using one of our favorite Missouri Star quilt templates, the ever-popular rhombus with our fun Triple Play patterns by Jenny, Natalie, and Misty. Next up, you'll learn all about the unique African wax fabrics used in our quilt collaboration with the Ubushobozi and finally, read all about kind quilters who sew for charity. Thank you for all your wonderful efforts over this challenging year to make quilting a work of heart! We love to hear your stories and see what you can do with a little fabric and a lot of love. This issue of BLOCK Magazine is dedicated to all of you!
