Go beyond straight line quilting! We'll practice curvy lines with the walking foot first, and then try loops, stipples and maybe even venture into some freehand writing or spirals etc.

When — Saturday October 22, 1:00 to 4:00 pm
2 approximately fat quarter-sized quilt sandwiches made of muslin or cotton of choice (1 yd total of fabric)
Quilting thread of choice (contrasting may be helpful)
Your quilt sandwiches should be basted as you prefer (spray, pins, or hand basted) before coming to class
About the instructor — Monika is a quilter, sewer, and overall creative person who loves to make practical things beautiful. Having inherited her creative talent from her mother, she was taught to sew in elementary school and then rediscovered her love for fabric in her early twenties. Now she works at Mad About Patchwork and enjoys teaching both kids and adults.
