Job Title: Retail Associate - Passionate About Patchwork

Job Type: Part-Time
Hours: 2-3 weekdays (10 AM - 4 PM) &
on average 2 Saturdays per month (9 AM - 2 PM)

Job Description:

We are seeking a cheerful and enthusiastic Retail Associate who shares our passion for sewing, quilting, and exploring the world of colors and fabrics. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the heart of fabric retail, working hands-on with our beautiful stock, assisting our lovely customers, and bringing a touch of creativity and joy to their shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the perfect fabrics and supplies for their projects. Share your passion and knowledge about sewing and quilting to inspire and help them with their selections.
Fabric Cutting & Preparation: Accurately measure, cut, and prepare fabrics according to customer requirements. Handle fabrics with care and precision, ensuring a high-quality preparation for their projects.
Stock Management: Receive, sort, and organize new stock deliveries. Maintain the presentation of the store by restocking inventory, organizing displays, and ensuring the shop is inviting and well-organized.
Online Order Fulfillment: Package and mail online orders with attention to detail, ensuring customers receive their fabrics and goods in perfect condition, adding a personal touch to each order to enhance the customer experience.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store objectives, participate in store meetings, and contribute to a positive and creative work environment.

Requirements:

A cheerful disposition and a genuine love for working with people.
A passion for sewing, quilting, and a keen eye for color and design.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is beneficial but not required.
Ability to work the specified hours, including 2-3 weekdays and on average 2 Saturdays per month.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle stock, including lifting and moving inventory.

Job Description:
We are looking for a dynamic Social Media Manager to enhance our online presence and engage our diverse community of craft enthusiasts. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can effectively use digital tools to showcase our products and share our brand’s story.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness.
Design and schedule regular content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest using Canva.
Collaborate with our product photographer to create compelling visual assets that align with our brand identity.
Monitor and manage social media ads, analyzing their performance and optimizing for better results.
Engage with our audience by responding to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Stay up-to-date with social media trends and technologies to keep our brand at the forefront of the digital space.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
Strong ability in using digital design tools such as Canva to create engaging content.
Experience directing photography for marketing assets.
Knowledgeable in scheduling tools and ad management on social media platforms.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A passion for crafting, sewing, or quilting is a plus.
