In this hands-on evening class, we’ll walk through multiple ways to attach binding—by machine and by hand—with demos on PFAFF machines so you can see how features like IDT™ (Integrated Dual Feed) and specialty feet make tricky steps easier. Bring any brand of machine if you like—the techniques are universal and we’ll offer brand-agnostic tips throughout.
You’ll learn to

Choose the right binding type for the project (straight-grain vs bias; single vs double-fold; when to use each).

Cut, join, and press binding for crisp, consistent width.

Master beautiful corners and invisible joins at the finish.

Do a clean hand finish (ladder stitch) or a durable all-machine finish.

Troubleshoot common issues: wavy edges, rounded corners, rippling, and show-through.
