This summer, we’re inviting you to experience something truly special — an outdoor Art Walk set along our beautifully manicured woodland path at Mad About Patchwork.
Much like our beloved Quilt Walk, this new event transforms the landscape into a gallery — where nature and art come together in a relaxed, inspiring setting.
Stroll the path at your own pace as you discover a curated collection of original works by Canadian artist Tom Harle, thoughtfully displayed along the route. Surrounded by trees, light, and fresh air, each piece becomes part of the environment — offering a unique way to experience art outside traditional gallery walls.
This is a free, self-guided outdoor experience, designed to be enjoyed by art lovers, nature walkers, and curious visitors alike.
Tom Harle is a Canadian artist based in the National Capital Region, known for his expressive, large-scale paintings and vibrant use of colour.
His work reflects a sense of freedom, relaxation, and emotional openness, often inspired by landscapes, movement, and moments of quiet observation. Rather than working small or minimal, Tom embraces human-scale canvases that invite viewers to fully immerse themselves in the piece.
His collection includes abstract and landscape-inspired works such as Dream Field, Sunlight on Water, and Forest at the Red Hour, each offering a bold and personal interpretation of the natural world.
