It's been a while since the last post (November!) Lots going on in the store and on the website which have kept me busy. We have a fresh new look online to make browsing + shopping even better for you, and help streamline some of our procedures at the same time. I've almost missed the deadline for posting our Modern Solids Challenge, which we issued last October. We've had 4 colourful placemats returned for voting:
These placemats will be donated to Meals on Wheels before Easter, but not until you've had a chance to vote for your favourite. Just leave a comment with your choice (1, 2, 3, or 4 from top to bottom). The winner will win a $50 gift card; runner up a $25 gift card.
And by leaving a comment you'll be entered for a chance to win a little bit of modern fun for yourself: (Edited Mar 5: Giveaway is now closed)

December 1 is the day where I really seriously start to think about Christmas. It’s not procrastination, just that I don’t really feel the holiday groove until the calendar shows December.

I started a rather lengthy post at the beginning of the month to update you on everything happening in the shop and studio. I’ve finally come back with the second part of that post.

I admire that those four people took time out of their busy Christmas season to create something so cheerful, and for such a good cause. I am going to vote for No. 2; it is not only creative, but shows diversity in form and I like the use of a patterned background in contrast to the starkness of the solids. Well done to all.
